WALTZ Trauma Care and Therapy welcomes newly licensed mental health clinicians (licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, or licensed professional clinical counselors) to continue grow and learn clinically and together as a team. Interested applicants must have an active, unrestricted license in the State of California to practice psychotherapy or counseling. They should also have at least two years of working with the adult population with a history of trauma. Ideal candidates are those who have a strong background in working with people of color and have completed the Basic EMDR Training (Weekend 1 and 2). WALTZ is committed to supporting each clinician's clinical journey and growth. They should be comfortable working remotely with technologies with good internet available in their area. All other modalities are welcome and a plus, but not required: EMDR certification, ACT, CBT, DBT, Emotion Focused Therapy, AEDP, IFS, Gestalt, etc. This position is W-2 hourly with the potential to become full-time (25+ clients). Clinicians/Therapists who are interested in providing supervision in the future are highly welcome as well. WALTZ will support educational/clinical learning and share resources for those new in private practice.
WALTZ will help you paneling with insurance companies to serve the community and build referral sources.

Registered Associates (ASW, AMFT, or APCC)
beginning in December 2023 or January 2024
WALTZ Trauma Care and Therapy will be accepting associate clinical social workers, associate marriage and family therapists, or associate professional clinical counselors beginning in December 2023. Start dates are flexible. Interested applicants must have an active registered associate status with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to begin accrue their hours toward licensure prior to their start date. Ideal candidates should have counseling experiences in mental health with the adult population and interests in deepening their understanding of how trauma impacts life and how healing begins. Weekly two-way video conference individual or triadic supervision will be provided under Ah Hyun Lee LCSW#105879. Educational expenses related to obtaining a license in CA will be reimbursed with a receipt. Associates will be encouraged to pursue at least one modality of their interest through the program. Preferences are given to those who want to build a caseload of 15+ over the course of 6 months and stay with the team for a long term. This is a W-2 hourly position with the potential to develop into a full-time position (25+).
